Cow Behavior

Cows are very social and gentle animals. They like living in herds. In an average herd, there is one bull to every 30 cows. The cow is a ruminant and its stomach has four compartments. The cow eats grass, hay, grain. A cow spends 6 hours eating and 8 hours chewing cud every day.
